Dance, Sing, Make, Play!

Tiny Pop classes and activities offer a welcoming and informal environment for both parents and children, where creativity and exploring the world are encouraged.

A Big Hello!

Hi, I'm Vikkie, and I run Tiny Pop Activities.

From the minute I fell in love with dance at my first class, I haven't been able to shake "the bug".  After completing my degree in Law at Leeds University, I decided I wanted to work with children, and began work as a pastoral manager in a secondary school. My desire to dance still burned inside though, and I began teaching adult classes in my spare time.  I then decided to complete my IDTA teaching qualification, and moved into teaching Early Stages Performing Arts classes at weekends. Realising how much I enjoyed teaching, I completed my PGCE in Secondary English - but something still wasn't right.  By this time, I was teaching and choreographing for various well-known companies, and I had discovered my passion and talent for nurturing the youngest learners. Since then, I haven't looked back, and have developed Tiny Pop Dance classes in line with the EYFS framework to use dance and music to help children grow in confidence and develop the skills needed to become effective learners in the future.
